  1. Terms & Conditions (T&C)
  1. Agreement – By using the services of Krib Information Services, employers and candidates agree to these Terms.
  2. Use of Services – Employers may use background verification reports solely for employment-related decisions.
  3. Disclaimer – While we strive for accuracy, Krib does not guarantee completeness of third-party records.
  4. Limitation of Liability – Krib is not liable for any indirect damages arising from the use of verification reports.

  1. Global Compliance – Krib follows FCRA (USA), GDPR (EU), DPDP Act (India), and other applicable laws.
  2. Fair Practices – Background verification is conducted lawfully, transparently, and with candidate consent.
  3. Non-Discrimination – No unfair or unlawful decisions will be made based on race, religion, gender, or disability.
  1. Consent & Authorization Policy
  1. Candidate Consent – No background check is initiated without written or electronic consent.
  2. Digital Authorization – Candidates may provide consent electronically via secure e-signature platforms.
  3. Withdrawal – Candidates can withdraw consent at any time (may impact employment process).
  1. Background Verification Policy

We conduct the following checks (based on employer request & candidate consent):

  1. Data Retention & Deletion Policy
  1. Retention – Candidate data is retained for 5 years (or as per local law).

  3. Employer Records – Employers receive final reports which they are required to handle responsibly.

  1. Right to Challenge – Candidates may dispute incorrect or incomplete verification reports.
  2. Resolution Timeline – Disputes are reviewed and resolved within 30 days.
  3. Correction – Any verified inaccuracies will be corrected, and employers will be re-notified.

  1. Equal Opportunity – Reports are factual and neutral, without bias.
  2. Non-Discrimination – Employers are prohibited from using reports to discriminate based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or disability.

  1. Vendor Selection – Krib partners only with accredited and compliant verification agencies.
  2. Data Sharing – Limited data is shared securely with vendors for verification purposes.
  3. Vendor Compliance – Vendors undergo periodic audits to ensure data privacy compliance.

  3. No Refunds – Once a check has been initiated, fees are non-refundable.
